Board of Management

Neville Grenyer - BA, MA, PGCE
Chairman of Board of Management

Neville Grenyer is a recently retired Her Majesty Inspector (HMI) of School and has over 22 years experience of inspecting state and independent schools. Prior to being a School Inspector, he has spent time at Haberdashers’ Aske’s School and Winchester School in various senior roles. Mr Grenyer is the Chairman of the Advisory board of Regent Group.
James Wardrobe - BA, MA, PGCE
Board Member

James Wardrobe is currently an Independent School Inspector. Prior to this appointment, he has been the head master for 24 years at Landsdown Independent Sixth Form College and Hellenic College London. James Wardrobe is a senior member of the advisory board of Regent Group.
Hugh Munro - BA, MA, PGCE
Board Member

Hugh Munro has many years of experience in the independent education sector. Hugh Munro is recently appointed as a board member of the Advisory Board of Regent Group.
Mr. Selva Pankaj - FCMA, MBA
Director

Selva Pankaj has many years of experience in the Financial and Independent Education Sector. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. Selva Pankaj is a senior member of the Advisory Board, and represents the Selvanayagam Family’s interest.

Mrs. Tharshiny Pankaj - BSc
Principal / Director

Tharshiny Pankaj has been one of the key figures at Regent College since it was founded. One of Mrs. Pankaj’s main roles is to interview new students and advise them on the course that is best suited for their requirements and abilities. She is responsible for the day-to- day organisation of the College. In addition, Mrs. Pankaj acts as a Form Tutor.
Ms. Emmeline Gordon Reid– Higher Dip F; PLA Dip PP; Dip C (Ins NH) Distinction
Head of Regent Learning

Emmeline Gordon Reid has substantial experience within the Education sector, providing private tuition for children for many years and having taught at The Hall Pre-Preparatory School. As Head of Regent Learning, Ms Gordon Reid is responsible for leading and managing the academic team of Regent Learning, in addition to teaching programmes as part of the Club, which includes Educational Holiday Programme and Maths & English Tuition for 5-12 year olds, as well as specialising in Entrance Exam Preparation for 4+, 7+ and 11+ entry.
Mrs. Alka Tailor BCom
Regent Learning Manager

A key member of the Administrative Management Staff since 2005, Alka Tailor, as a Centre Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day activities of Regent Learning.
Mrs. Paras Patel - B.E., MBA Finance
Finance Manager

Paras Patel is the Group Finance Manager and responsible for all accounting and finance related matters of the School and other Regent Group activity. Paras has an MBA in Finance and also takes an active role in all aspects of Regent’s operation.
Mr. Paras Sutaria - BCom (Hons.), ACCA Finalist
Regent Learning Co-ordinator

Paras Sutaria is co-ordinator of Regent Learning activities and plays a fundamental role in the activities of the Regent Group.

Mr. James Donovan
Mathematics

James Donovan has extensive experience in education and is the Pastoral Manager for Compulsory School Age students (CSA) and co-ordinates Physical Education for CSA students as well as providing career advice.
Mr. Vasanthakumaran Kandiah - BSc, MSc
Head of Mathematics

Vasanthakumaran Kandiah graduated with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Computational Mathematics with Modelling, from Brunel University. At Regent College, Vasanthakumaran is the Head of the Mathematics Department and teaches GCSE and A-Level Maths. A member of Regent College for several years, Vasanthakumaran also provides Pastorial care and UCAS advice to Sixth Form students. Mr Kandiah is in the process of completing his PGCE at Institute of Education.
Ms. Marilyn Brown - BSc
English Teacher

Mrs. Brown holds a degree in Psychology from the University of London and has over 25 years of experience in working with children. She is an expert in the assessment of children and in verbal reasoning. Mrs. Brown brings an exceptional blend of compassion, imagination and expertise to her Head of Regent Learning role at the school. In addition, Ms Brown co-ordinates PSHE and Citizenship activities for Senior School pupils as well as acting as a Form Tutor.
Mr. Ragulan Amirthalingam - B.Eng
Mathematics

Ragulan Amirthalingam graduated from City University and has been a member of Regent College for several years, contributing and providing academic support to students. A member of the Mathematics department at Regent College, Ragulan teaches Mathematics to Key Stage, GCSE and A Level Students.
Mrs. Reeti Sharma – BSc, MA, B.Ed
English

Mrs. Sharma is a highly experienced English teacher and an examiner with the exam board. With a background in English Language and Literature she has a special interest in teaching Years 8-11. With an innovative and interactive approach to her teaching methods she is able to bring out the best in all her pupils to achieve excellent results across the broad.
Mr. Imran Imam - BSc, MSc
Mathematics

Imran Imam graduated from the University of London, Kings College, with a Degree in Physics and also holds Masters in Mathematics at Imperial College, University of London. Imran Imam is currently teaching Further Maths and Maths for A Level students and provides Pastorial care and UCAS support to students who plan to begin Higher Education.
Mrs. Suthahari Sathiyaseelan - BSc, PGCE
Science & Biology
Suthahari Sathiyaseelan graduated in Bachelors from the University of Sri Lanka and has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. As a member of the Regent College Science Department, Mrs Sathiyaseelan teaches Key Stage 3, GCSE Science and A Level Biology and has provided students with academic support and motivation.
Mr. Jayanthan Sivarasah - BSc
Science & Chemistry

A graduate from the University of Sri Lanka, Jayanthan Sivarasah has been a member of the Regent College team for several years and teaches GCSE Science and A Level Chemistry and has established a thriving approach to teaching.
Mrs. Mikki Shahid - BSc, PGCE
English

Mikki Shahid, a senior member of the Languages Department at Regent College for several years, is a graduate of University of London and teaches GCSE English and IELTS. In addition, Mrs Shahid oversees all GCSE English Coursework related matters.
Ms. Vanmathy Rajalingam - B.Sc, M.Sc
Mathematics

A graduate with a Bachelors and Masters within the field of Mathematics, Vanmathy Rajalingam teaches Maths for Regent Learning Students for Key Stages 2 and 3 and applies a systematic and responsive and friendly approach to teaching.
Assad Shamsi
ICT Teacher

Having completed his GCSE and A Levels at Regent College, Assad Shamsi undertook a Degree in Information Technology at Brunel University. Mr. Shamsi is currently completing Bachelors in Business Computing at University of Westminster and is a member of the administrative team. Additionally, Assad Shamsi teaches ICT as part of the Regent Learning Club programme, in addition to managing and co-ordinating the College’s weekend activities.
